Bicipital Tendonitis

This condition involves inflammation of the tendon of the upper part of the biceps. This tendon originates from the socket of the shoulder and runs within the shoulder joint before entering the groove in the upper arm. It is manifested by pain in front of the shoulder. Most cases respond to.nonsurgical options that include NSAIDS, steroid injections, and physical therapy. If conservative management fails, then surgery may be needed to relieve pain.
